Welcome to Warriors of the Moon! We are a modern-day warrior cats roleplay! It's been 10 years, and all of the original Clans have disbanded. Even SkyClan means nothing. We have new ones called MarshClan, MistClan, PeakClan, and WolfClan. We're one account per person, like most warriors roleplays. Meaning, no character accounts!
Our roleplay rating is 3-0-2, and we have a simple application and a quick acceptance process! Your character will be approved in not even an hour, depends on our timezones, though! Welcome!

Cinderstar had decided to take a little walk by herself in Yellowwood Forest. After all, the forest was comforting in her opinion. It just was. Leading a Clan was stressful and difficult in Cinderstar's opinion. She seemed to blend with the snow, as she had pure white fur. The only way someone could probably tell if she was actually a living thing was when they saw two mismatched eyes glancing back at them, eyes of yellow and blue. Typical for a Khao Manee like Cinderstar.
However, as she started getting ready to relax by a leafless tree, she caught a scent. MarshClan, it reeked of. Cinderstar rolled her eyes and called out.
"Who the hell is here?".

The voice was blunt and demanding, as familiar as it was impeccably rude as it broke the young Medicine Cat from her thoughts. Not that her thoughts had been of terrible, immediate importance. In truth, she’d simply been daydreaming as she wondered about Yellowwood forest, trusting her nimble paws and sensitive nose to guide her precisely where she needed to go. Her thoughts were focused on a pretty she-cat that in truth she had never seen in the living world. She looked so much like her, beyond eyes of amber rather than green, and snowy while paws. All she could recall of her from her youth was her scent, once laden with milk in her first days, and soon just as tainted with death before she was gone entirely. The only time she saw the she-cat was a few moons ago as she became a full Medicine Cat, and half a moon ago as she’d lost her mentor. Her pelt had been dappled with starshine, and she’d looked healthy and loving as she’d greeted the daughter she never got to raise, yet had always watched over fondly. She’d said she was proud, and that was all Fawnleap had needed to hear.
Now she couldn’t get the image out of her mind.
That was, until a blunt voice chased it away, and she was shaken back to reality just as she realised she had almost risked damaging the burdock she was digging up. Scolding herself, she gently plucked out the roots before scooping them up and rising to her paws, following the direction she’d heard the voice floating from as she bounded a few paces before halting with her head and tail held high. Remembering the plants this time, she placed them neatly at her paws, before dipping her head in greeting to the snowy feline as scent and sight bathed her with recognition.
“Cinderstar,” she greeted politely, an attempt at friendly calmly not doing too much to mask her excited pleasure at running into a leader outside Gatherings. She couldn’t help that the prospect fascinated her. How different was the pristine Mistclan leader from Owlstar, her own leader? “You look well! What brings you to Yellowwood?”

CINDERSTAR MISTCLAN LEADER | SHE-CAT
Cinderstar noticed the figure of a rather sandy-looking she-cat. Ah yes, Fawnleap of MarshClan. When the cat acted all friendly and greeted Cinderstar kindly, the snowy cat rolled her mismatched eyes. "I always look fine, darling." She replied, before looking back at Fawnleap. "I come here a lot. I find it a relaxing place out of all the possible areas on neutral ground. I assume you're probably here for herbs."
Cinderstar then sat down next to the tree she planned on relaxing by, raising a brow. "Heard there's a kittypet called Kai who's an 'herb specialist', as he so says."

Despite what could have been called a blunt reply, paired with an eye roll, Fawnleap didn’t even flinch. Instead, she nodded agreeably as she lowered her haunches, tail curling neatly over her paws. “Oh, I don’t doubt that for a second,” she meowed. Cinderstar always seemed so pristine and perfect, with her glossy coat of snow seemingly without a spot of mud, and those bright bicolored eyes that could honestly be called captivating. Suddenly a little subconscious about the dirt marring her own normally pristine forepaws from her digging session, she rose a paw to groom it as she pricked her ears to listen to Cinderstar.
“Certainly. Burdock, in fact,” she mewed, pausing the strokes of her tongue to gesture with her muzzle toward the bundle of burdock root beside her. She would have liked more, but she was honestly lucky to find what little she had. The grounds were still covered with snow, after all. Not the harshest leaf-bare - fortunately meaning she hadn’t encountered any greencough this season - yet still quite chilly and resulting in many dead reserves. Tail tip twitching, she thrust her thoughts away. It simply wouldn’t do to dwell. “I can see how this place is relaxing - so long as you don’t run into any bears!”
Long whiskers twitched in amusement as she continued grooming her paw.
Lowering her now clean paw as the Mistclan leader sat, Fawnleap found herself suddenly quite alert at the offered information. Ears pricking, she sat straight up, ignoring her one dirt spattered paw that rested beside her freshly cleaned one as she stared wide-eyed at the molly. “A herb specialist, truly?” There was a quiver of excitement to her mew, and her tail lashed slightly beside her. “I shall have to seek this ‘Kai’ out. Any herb supplies are truly a blessing in leaf-bare. Do you know much more of this cat, perhaps what he looks like, or where precisely I might find him? Oh! If whomever knows him could escort me, that would be simply wonderful!”
Honestly, she was lucky Cinderstar had told her what she already had.
Cinderstar slowly nodded as Fawnleap explained that she was looking for herbs, mainly burdock. She smirked when Fawnleap said how she could see this place could be relaxing. "Winter is when it's the most relaxing, and spring." Cinderstar added, licking a paw and drawing it over a white ear. She then perked when Fawnleap asked Cinderstar for some information on Kai. "He's a cranky, spoiled kittypet." The MistClan leader explained with a hint of disgust. She hated kittypets. "He lives in this blue and white twoleg den, often outside by this secluded area full of herbs. He usually wants something in return, usually catnip. The twoleg dens are located in this area that looks like a park with all of these odd monsters scattered around, except there's just twoleg dens and monsters, none of those tall ones. Some kittypets call them trailers."
Cinderstar then glanced around. "Guess Kai can be helpful, though, despite being such a prick. He's nice, sometimes."

Fawnleap could tell Cinderstar hated kittypets, if the disgust chilling her tone had anything to say for it. However, at this point, the young medicine cat found such a thing irrelevant. She wasn’t always entirely certain on outsiders herself, but if they could be of service, and provide herbs especially, then they were friend not foe in her mind. So, she simply flicked an ear dismissively at the mention of the kittypet’s attitude problems and watched the older feline with rounded eyes as she tried to absorb all the information she was being giving. Good thing being a healer and having to memorise all those herbs, treatments and illnesses meant she had a great memory.
However, her eyes still widened with a minor prick of alarm, caught on something the other had said. Catmint! Tail flickering anxiously, worry clouded her gaze and she shook her head slightly. “Oh, I do hope he’ll accept something else for herbs. Catmint is so rare! I need all that I have in leaf-bare, and then some. Oh, I’m lucky not to need it just yet, I wonder if perhaps he gives catmint as well as takes it...” Her clouded gaze quickly brightened however and her tail still as her ears pricked straight up. “Maybe he’d like some honey! I’m sure that would certainly be a good offer, I don’t know a single cat who doesn’t like honey.”
The medicine cat’s whiskers twitched slightly in amusement as she pictured the pawful of younger cats who would beg for honey.
Cinderstar listened as Fawnleap started talking about catmint, the other word for catnip, basically. "Heh, who knows." Cinderstar said, shrugging. "Based on how he's obsessed with catmint, doubt he'll give it." The white cat's ears then perked up when the medicine cat mentioned honey. "Hm. I bet Kai would be interested in that." She commented. She could see Kai getting happy at the sight of honey.
"I don't think kittypets would be familiar with it unless they got honey in their food, but since Kai's so smart, bet he knows about it. I can take you to him, if you'd like."

As the Mistclan leader affirmed this mystery kittypet may very well like honey, her eyes lit up once more, and her paws shifted slightly. Already, she was antsy to get going and meet this cat, but she knew she couldn’t simply rush into things like this. Even as Cinderstar made her offer - and what a wonderfully kind one at that! - Fawnleap could do little more than offer a polite dip of her head and a bright, thankful smile.
“I truly do appreciate the offer, thank you, Cinderstar,” she meowed, before her whiskers twitched a little hesitantly. She did’t like rejecting offers, especially ot one such as this, and so freely given. However, the timing simply didn’t fit, ad she could’t Accept it. Perhaps, unless, the leader agreed to lead her there at a later time? “Unfortunately however, I cannot simply leave unannounced. Before I even consider going to meet this cat, I will have to first go home and speak with Owlstar.”
She hoped she could find him on her own. She’d wonder if perhaps one of Marshclan’s warriors knew of this kittypet, though she supposed it was unlikely. If her clanmates knew of a herbalist, they would have told her immediately. After all, they knew well enough the value of herbs, and that their medicine cat was willing to hear out most any idea, so long as it didn’t include betrayal to her clan. She had an open mind, creativity and a wide variety of solutions to a problem was something she greatly encouraged.
